Mahabaleshwar is a hill station in Maharashtra's Satara district, located in the Western Ghats. Mahabaleshwar is noted for its various rivers, spectacular cas
cades, and breathtaking peaks, in addition to its strawberries. It is one of the most popular weekend getaways from Pune and Mumbai, and is roughly 120 kilometres south of Pune and 285 kilometres from Mumbai.
